The 8/8 Lion’s Gate Activation & Astrological Forecast- August 8, 2023
Every year on and around the 8th day of the 8th month of the year, there is a cosmic alignment called, “the Lion’s Gateway”. The Lion’s Gate opens on July 26th and runs until August 12th, peaking on August 8th. The Lion’s Gate is known to be a time of increased cosmic energy and when the veil is thinned between the physical and spiritual realms. The Lion’s Gate has ties to ancient Egypt and the alignment of the Egyptian pyramids.
The Lion’s Gate corresponds with the fixed star Sirius. The star Sirius is said to be twice the size of the Sun and 26 times brighter. It has been said to represent abundance and fertility. The Lion’s gateway is marked by an alignment between the earth and the star Sirius. As the star Sirius rises in the sky, Orion’s belt directly aligns with the Pyramid of Giza, and from our perspective on Earth, it appears that Sirius comes closer to the earth. The Great Pyramid of Giza is found at the location of one of the earth’s chakras, or energetic enters. This greatly enhances the energetic portal. Esoterically, this location has been said to correspond with the throat chakra.
The Lion’s Gate occurs when the Sun is in the zodiac sign of Leo. Leo is associated with a strong heart space energy. Leo exhibits the perfect energy to anchor in the ascension codes and energies of higher consciousness.
The Lion’s Gate contains a great energetic influx and activation. It is a time of great spiritual ascension which can be harnessed. It has been said when this alignment happens, there is an intense surge of light which awakens DNA, activates the human energy field, and transmits vibrational frequencies and codes of awakening. Sirius pours forth light codes of ascension, divinity, and mastery towards the earth, sometimes called the Spiritual Sun, aligning a higher level of activation and progression on the ascension path. It has been said that the Lion’s Gate is all about fully awakening your Divine Light within and your full potential.
There are several things you can do to harness the energies of this energetic Gateway. Since the energy works with your subtle body, also called, light body, it is advised to try to activate your light body. There are exercises you can do to help achieve this. Another way you can work with the light codes and activations from this cosmic Gateway would be by working with and focusing on the throat chakra. Work with throat charka healing and corresponding crystals (blue topaz, blue kyanite, blue lace agate, blue calcite, celestite, turquoise, or sodalite) and sound frequencies, such as 741Hz, that relate to the throat chakra. Also, working with the number 8, (a symbol of infinity), and visualizing its infinite power helps to prepare you for the Lion’s Gate activation codes.
Let’s take a look at things astrologically for this day. Firstly, let’s look at the Moon and its major aspects.
The Moon will be in Taurus. You will have a need for financial and material security, in order to maintain your emotional well-being. You may be feeling to enjoy a good time but be careful as there can be a risk of weight gain and over-indulgence.
The Moon will form a square with the Sun. This is a challenging aspect overall. You will desire inner harmony, however, at the same time, you will feel discontented and tense. Your relationship with the opposite sex may be strained right now also. There may also be discord between your parents.
The Moon will form a Trine with Mercury. This may make your thoughts influenced by your feelings and vice versa. You will feel highly perceptive and will be able to easily sense the moods and feelings of others. Your mind will be both fertile, imaginative, and hungry for knowledge.
Venus will form a Square with the Moon. This will make you also desire a good time but be careful because there is a strong potential for over-indulgence and extravagance. Positively, your artistic potential is heightened right now, especially in painting, photography, and/or music
The Moon will form a trine with Mars. This will make you feel busy, and you will have a need to initiate new projects and enterprises. You feel bold and courageous and will speak your mind and express yourself in a direct manner in confrontational situations. Others will know where they stand with you, if they didn’t before.
The Moon will form a conjunction with Uranus. This aspect will make you display strong individualistic inclinations and self-reliance, coupled with the tendency to rebel against restrictions on your freedom and independence. You will feel strong willed and ambitious, and capable of sacrificing emotional and family relationships for the attainment of personal objectives. You will have a sharp intuition and can be uncannily perceptive about people and situations.
The Moon will also form a conjunction with Jupiter. Your emotional honesty and good humor will make you popular and appreciated by others. You know how to enjoy yourself and are socially aware, and ready to help others. Relations with women are especially positive and personally advantageous right now. Negatively, you may experience some religious and philosophical conflicts right now.
The Sun is in Leo. You will feel creative in the broadest sense of the word and motivated by the urge to make your mark on the world and to gain a measure of personal recognition or power. You will most likely have a desire to be at the center of attention, or in the limelight. You will project authority and natural leadership qualities. You will be feeling extra protective and generous of those you care about right now also.

You know how to enjoy life and indulge yourself, however, be careful not to overdo the good times right now. Also, be careful, as this aspect can make you a bit reckless and careless with money. You might also be inclined to exaggerate and blow things up out of proportion.
